Having fun with art /

## Brand definition /

Using art as a window into a child’s personality and behavior, we identify their unique strengths and tendencies and explore meaningful directions for their development.

Observe → Understand → Discover Strengths → Guide Gently → Support Growth

## Primary value /

We don’t try to change who a child is. We help their strengths grow.

We believe that behaviors that may seem challenging can sometimes be connected to a child’s unique way of thinking, creating, and experiencing the world.

Instead of rushing to correct, we first seek to:

* See the child’s individuality
* Understand the patterns behind their behavior
* Discover overlooked strengths
* Guide without suppressing their natural creativity
* Let positive change develop naturally

## Inner Code Analysis /

Understanding Children Through Art

Through art-based observation, we look beyond a child’s behavior to better understand the characteristics behind it.

We do not rush to label a child, nor is our goal simply to correct what may appear to be a problem. Instead, we observe the child’s creative process, artwork, and behavioral responses to discover their unique ways of thinking, individual tendencies, and natural strengths.

We then provide parents with gentle, practical, and personalized guidance to support their child’s growth.

### HOGO ART — Inner Code Analysis

Through art, we observe how children think, express themselves, and respond to different situations.
Rather than labeling or correcting a child, we look deeper into their creative process and artwork to discover their unique personality traits, behavioral patterns, and strengths — then offer gentle, practical guidance for their growth.

Inner Code Decoded

Inner Code Decoded explores how a child’s ways of thinking, expressing, choosing, and responding may be reflected through their artwork and creative process.

We help parents better understand their child—not only by noticing areas that may need support, but also by discovering unique strengths that are easily overlooked.

Through observing both the child’s creative process and the artwork itself, we look at how the child thinks, expresses ideas, makes choices, responds to challenges, and develops their ideas. These observations help identify strengths, behavioral tendencies, and potential areas for future development, followed by personalized growth recommendations.

When certain behaviors may benefit from adjustment, we do not advocate correcting children through pressure or rigid instruction. Instead, we use art-based guidance as an alternative to direct correction, helping parents guide their children in ways that better fit their individual characteristics.

The goal is to allow children to participate willingly, preserve their existing strengths, and gradually develop new and healthier behavioral experiences.

For example

A child may have difficulty staying with one activity for a long time while constantly generating new ideas.

Rather than simply defining this as a “lack of focus,” we also look at the child’s imagination and creativity, while recognizing a tendency to shift between ideas quickly.

Through specifically designed art activities, we can help the child gradually develop the ability to sustain, organize, and complete an idea—without suppressing their natural imagination and creative thinking.

⸻

Our Approach

Discover Strengths → Identify Tendencies → Find Growth Directions → Guide Through Art

Inner Code Decoded is not about judging a child based on a single drawing.

Instead, it uses a structured creative observation experience to understand how a child expresses, thinks, chooses, responds, and completes a creative task.

These observations are then translated into practical, art-based guidance that parents can use in everyday life.

⸻

Inner Code Decoded｜Process

STEP 1｜Submit Recent Natural Artwork

Parents provide 3–5 recent artworks created naturally by the child within the past week.

The artwork does not need to be beautiful or technically advanced. Ideally, the child should have decided what to create independently, without step-by-step instruction.

We recommend avoiding:

* Art-school assignments
* Copying or imitation exercises
* Artwork completed under step-by-step teacher instruction

These natural artworks provide a reference for understanding the child’s spontaneous creative style and visual language.

⸻

STEP 2｜Provide Basic Information

Parents provide:

* Child’s age
* What the parent would like to understand or explore during the session

⸻

STEP 3｜1-Hour Online Creative Observation

After submitting the artwork, the child will participate in a 1-hour online creative observation session.

Parents will receive a materials preparation list in advance and are responsible for preparing the required materials before the session.

A phone stand or suitable camera setup should be prepared so that both the child and the artwork can be seen as clearly as possible.

Because certain details may not always be visible through the online camera, parents may also be asked to take photos or short videos of specific stages of the creative process and send them during or after the session.

During the creative process, we observe the child’s natural responses and how they respond to different creative conditions.

Areas of observation may include:

* How the child begins a creative task
* How they choose colors, materials, and placement
* How they organize space and composition
* How they use lines, shapes, and brushstrokes
* How they respond when difficulties arise
* Whether they are willing to try new approaches
* How they respond when their original idea cannot continue
* How they respond to questions, suggestions, or creative limitations
* Whether they can continue developing an idea over time

Parent’s role

Parents mainly provide:

Materials + Equipment Support + Necessary Assistance

The purpose is not for the parent to teach or direct the child, but to help create the conditions needed for natural observation.

⸻

STEP 4｜Comprehensive Creative Analysis

After the online observation session, we combine three sources of information:

Previous Natural Artwork
＋
Creative Process & Observed Behaviors
＋
Final Artwork

These are considered together to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the child’s creative characteristics, behavioral tendencies, strengths, and areas for development.

⸻

STEP 5｜1-Hour Parent Consultation & Growth Recommendations

Following the creative observation, there will be a 1-hour one-on-one consultation with the parent.

We will discuss:

* What characteristics are already clearly visible
* The child’s strengths and areas that may benefit from development
* Behavioral and personality tendencies observed through the creative process
* Abilities that may currently be developing
* Potential directions for the child’s next stage of growth
* Personalized art-based guidance strategies
* Practical ways parents can support the child in everyday life

The goal is not simply to tell parents what we observed, but also to help them understand how they can respond to and support their child.

### HOGO ART —

### Child Creative & Development Consultation— HOGO ART

Understand Your Child Better. Grow Together, Healthier.

Between the ages of 2 and 12, children are going through important stages of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral development. During these years, parents and caregivers can play an important role in shaping their everyday experiences and development.

This is also a valuable time to recognize a child’s emerging strengths and individual characteristics—before certain patterns become deeply established.

Our goal is to help parents notice and protect the qualities that make their child unique, while using gentle, art-based guidance rather than pressure or rigid correction.

Through creative observation, we provide parents with a professional perspective on their child’s ways of thinking, expressing, responding, and interacting with challenges.

We then offer personalized, practical, and supportive recommendations to help parents better understand their child, strengthen the parent-child relationship, and create healthier experiences for growth.

### Harnessing AI Through Art: Turning AI Tools into Creative Power

How HOGO ART uses AI as a supportive learning companion while keeping human creativity at the center.

AI as a Creative Partner, Not a Replacement for Creative Thinking

We believe AI should support a learner’s creativity, not replace it.

Through art and creative practice, we help children develop the creativity, independent thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills needed to use AI thoughtfully and effectively.

Rather than becoming overly dependent on AI, children learn how to direct AI, question its output, refine ideas, and make their own creative choices.

Our goal is simple:

Let AI work for you—not think for you.

By placing creativity at the center, we help children develop a healthy and purposeful relationship with AI—using it as a tool to expand their ideas while keeping their own imagination, judgment, and creative voice at the core.
